Boots and Flowers
Have you seen the big flowers in the new Vogue Knitting?
They're addictive:
I've made another 4 or 5, and all of this since Wednesday. And all out of yarn from my leftovers box. I've been wearing them as pins & when someone I like compliments me on one, I give it to them. It's a happy thing. With chunky yarn they take 30 minutes or less.
Baby did a bad, bad thing:
Shopping on ebay again. Some great kick around Justins, cheap.

ooh, NIIIIICe boots! are they smelly? :-)
ahhh! WANT! (am trying not to wear out my Fluevog demi- cowboy boots too much, so need new ones to alternate with...)
you found something you wanted to knit. nice. they are pretty. i like the issue, started knitting the lace high collared top (late at night, no sleep knitting).
The boots send me back to my childhood in the Wild West (honestly, very close to Montana!) and it wasn't pretty. But the flowers are great--what a lovely gesture!
I have some pointy boots a bit like those. Is pointy in?
