and i happen to know that the patterns in it are great -- interesting, not ordinary, and flattering. and what i like even more is the way the book lays out the basics of choosing, shaping and adapting patterns to make them right for YOUR body in plain, non-sugar-coated words. i'll wager that even your best friends don't talk to you about your chest that way! this book will empower you to make knits you love.
I am so looking forward to it! I even know of some of my german knitting friends who already preordered it. Best wishes from the Munich suburbs ;-) Petra
Can you tell me more about your book? What kind of pattersn (sweaters, socks, scarves, etc.?); how many patterns; what kind of instruction. I am kind of a "tween" in that Debbie Bliss and Rowan sizes are too small for me, but I'm not in the "x" sizes, either. Your book loods tantalizing!
I've only recently started reading your blog so don't know much about your background. How long have you been a professional knitwear designer? Having lost about 30 kilos over the past couple of years, I no longer need "big" sizes but I'd still love to have the book because I have voluptuous friends who I might like to knit something for. It's certainly a book that's been a long time coming! ~Sharon J

I am so glad to see a book like this! I just bought a knitting book where a large was a size 10! 36 around! It is about time!
