Music thoughts?

It's Spring and I need new music. Plus I'm trying to bribe myself to finish a knitting project.
I'm trying to choose between:
Arctic Monkeys
New Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs
Rabbit Fur Coat

or any other suggestions y'all might have out there.
Recently have had new Cat Power, Beth Orton & Betty Lavette on heavy rotation.

Also need suggestions on good audio book mysteries, prefer those dulcet British tones, but a goodie is a goodie, either side of the Atlantic. Perhaps Alan Rickman could call me up and read to me while I knit?

New fabrics over to Reprodepot. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I suggest our music-blog:

Tomorrow it's going to be Franz Ferdinand and the next two weeks are that kind.

I can't say enough good things about the band Hem. We've had their first album, Rabbit Songs, for years, and just got their latest album yesterday. It's glorious and divine and stunning.

the new jenny lewis is pretty awesome and i think the yyys are great. arctic monkeys are a bit overrated to me but they're not bad. i'd go in that order if you had to choose. :)

In the area of mysteries, I would definitely check out Janet Evanovich. She is a wonderful author. Her Stephanie Plum series is very addicitive. I have read her books many times and listened to anything that is on tape. I find it very easy to knit to and a lot of her writings have me laughing out loud.

You may like audio books read by Samuel West (a British actor with a caramel voice and perfect diction, and actually perfectly lovely in person). He has done at least a couple of mysteries that I've found, both by Michael Ridpath(?). I don't know much about mysteries; these I expect are just ok. But the narrator... sigh. Sam has also recorded two of Sebastian Faulk's novels, _Bird Song_ and _Charlotte Gray_. The trouble is that most of his audiobooks are British releases. If interested, let me know...
