Knitting Kids

I've been teaching Isobel's class to knit. We started finger knitting in January and we knit every Friday afternoon.

Isobel's teacher is a knitter. She lets the kids knit at indoor recess & during choice time.

The kiddos love it. Most are still finger knitting because it goes faster, but four of them are knitting on needles. I've even had 2 parents call me to thank me.

I taught the class to spin on science day & we're making felt balls next month.

Next year school year I want to start an all school knitting club where our school kids knit for kids at a nearby hospital.

I can't just sit and knit can I?
