Big Girls
I know, I know, I always have some smart ass thing to say. But today I got a 'real' copy of Big Girl Knits.
It's an advance copy drop shipped from the printer in Hong Kong. The copies for yarn stores are having a leisurely boat journey - they'll be availible in April.
I took her outside for a little photoshoot.
She's gorgeous, printed on lucious glossy paper.
We got so many great quotes from people about the book - Deb Stoller, Pam Allen , Melanie Falick, Sally Melville and Vickie Howell - that they filled up the back and we had to put some of them on the inside flaps of the jacket.
I love the spine, it's all cute and polka dotty.
Sigh.

I am eagerly looking forward to my pre-ordered copy to arrive!
I am SO excited, so I can't even imagine how excited you must be. When will the designer copies get sent out? (I'm trying to decide whether to ask you to send mine to my US or my Canada address, so that I can get my hands on it as soon as humanly possible!)
I can't wait for this book either! So looking forward to stylish knit designs for "big girls"...love it!

I am squealing with excitement. You didn't tell me my pattern was on the back cover!
So cool! So exciting! Can't wait to see it in person.
I'll definitely be getting one as soon as they hit the stores here!
I cannot WAIT to see it in color! It was kickass enough in b/w, but man...color? WHEE!
By the way, I LOVE what you did with my roving. Superfine!
Whoot-Woo! No, I'm not embarassed to admit that I look at the pic of the book online every night before going to bed. I am too excited about the book and am ready to do cartwheels through the bookstore when it arrives. I thank you for thinking of me and my "post-pregnancy" chest thanks you! Finally, something I can knit for myself without wondering if my pattern adjustments will make me look ridiculous. Thanks and congrats!
