Baaaaaaaaa!
Merino
My fleeces came from Treenway today! They are sheepy in a good way & hardly dirty.
Behold their fuzzy majesty:
Merino
Polwarth
Gotland - no drooling ,it felts verrry easily!
Lookie what's coming my way:
A Hatchtown Kaari!!!!!
Black walnut/Cherry .95 oz
I've wanted one of these forever. Well since I spun on Carla's.
It was the first spindle I spun on that didn't feel like it was all going to come flying apart (the spinning not the spindle).
So, thanks Jim & gee, thanks Carla - extra special enabler.

Them fleeces is still baaing, Jillian. I think they forgot to take the sheep out of 'em.
I've never seen anything so BACK TO FREAKIN' NATURE! They're not even, like, dyed or anything.
Woweeeee!
(drool, drool...)
Jim & Pam at Hatchtown are superfantabulous, and their dog has a higher IQ than many adults I know...wait til you see my photos of their farm in Spin To Knit! Also, Pam's Coopworth fleeces are a DREAM to spin!
I'm trying not to drool, but the crimp in those fleeces are amazing!
I bow at the altar of your Hatchtown. It's a pretty one! I can smell those fleece from here - yummy.
Drool? I guess this brands me as a non-spinner (so far): i thought you had posted buckets of fish or worms or something.
Later, I'm sure I'll want to drool.
i too saw a bucket of worms! you are so busy spinning. if i had the space i'm sure i would allow myself to spin anslove it too.
Oooohhhhh, those fleeces look lovely.
Question: I have a fleece of my own on it's way [thanks to this post!] and I am wondering if you think I will have to wash the fleece before carding/flicking/combing?
